Coaching Syllabus

The coaching award scheme will provide instructors with the necessary tools to coach and teach at various levels with different types of student.
The assessment of an award will be based upon the candidate's ability to transfer ideas and techniques to individuals and groups, monitor students progress and produce a structured course of study that meets their targets and enhances their performance.

The various levels of award will be progressive and address differing aspects accordingly.
Assessment will include a written and practical examination followed by evaluation in a coaching environment.

It is the requirement of the British Judo Council (M.A.C.) that all of its Registered Judo Coaches revalidate their Coaching status every year.
